Greetings & Salutations

So, I finally have one. Has only taken several years for me to finally get my act together and actually bother to set up my own blog rather than just read everybody else's and wonder "Hmmm, couldn't I be doing the same thing?" (except in a more witty and intelligent style of course), and this is the result...

So in the midst of all the blogs out there, what will I be musing on? Well, like any self-respecting international socialite and playboy, there will be the usual combination of what is actually happening in my life, together with a fair amount of politics and general gossip; as you know, I'm not one to gossip, but if I happen to find something interesting, then I feel that it will be my duty to share and to inform what will hopefully be a loyal and regular readership....

What I can promise you- at least on occasion- is an interesting, intelligent and thoughtful blog and one which I hope will cause you to return time and time again to catch up on the latest news in my life, which does vary from the mundane to the ridiculous, today being of the more mundane variety- hence why I have finally struck gold and started this blog!
